The innovators at Royal Atlantic
Aviation have developed a new manual cutoff valve for your
Cessna Conquest II. If an overheat condition exists, the
new manual cutoff valve gives the pilot an aid in preventing
an in-flight emergency or unscheduled landing by stopping
the flow of extremely hot bleed air to the windshield.
The pilot friendly valve helps prevent irreparable damage
by using a manual control on the panel. When an overheat
condition
exists, the pilot gets a red visual warning. If the light
stays on, the normal shutoff system has failed and you
have a hazardous condition. The manual cutoff valve gives
the pilot control over this condition and allows
for a more timely repair on the ground. If the flight were
in known icing, the pilot can then plan accordingly and
an immediate landing need not occur.
Evolution. The engineers at Royal Atlantic continue to look for ways
to improve the safe
operating conditions of your Cessna Conquest II.
